Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between Anant Jewellery ("we", "us", "our") and you ("customer", "user", "you") in connection with the purchase of jewellery products and services offered at our showroom located at Shop 8, Silicon Square Business Park, Bellandur Main Road, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560103, India, and through any associated digital platforms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our website or purchase our products or services. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms shall be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of our agreement with you.

Services & Products

Anant Jewellery offers the following products and services:

• Fine gold jewellery (22 KT, 18 KT) — necklaces, rings, earrings, bangles, bracelets, and bridal sets
• Diamond and gemstone jewellery
• Silver jewellery collections
• Custom and bespoke jewellery design services
• Jewellery repair, resizing, and maintenance services
• Exchange and buy-back services for gold and jewellery

Product Descriptions

We take every effort to ensure the accuracy of product descriptions, weights, purity details, and pricing. However, minor variations in handcrafted pieces are inherent to the artisan process and should be considered a mark of authenticity. Product images are representative and actual products may vary slightly in colour, texture, and design due to screen display differences and natural variations in precious materials.

Availability

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time without prior notice. In the event that a product you have ordered is unavailable, we will notify you promptly and offer a suitable alternative or full refund.

Pricing & Payment

3.1 Gold Pricing

Gold jewellery prices are based on the prevailing gold rate at the time of purchase, which may vary daily. The final price includes gold value (based on weight and purity), making charges, stone charges (if applicable), and applicable GST. All prices are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.

3.2 Price Transparency

We are committed to transparent pricing. Upon request, our team will provide a detailed price breakdown including:

• Gold weight (in grams) and current gold rate per gram
• Making charges (per gram or as a percentage)
• Stone value (certified by lab reports where applicable)
• GST @ 3% on gold jewellery as per applicable tax regulations

3.3 Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

• Cash (subject to limits as prescribed by Government of India for jewellery purchases)
• Debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Rupay)
• Net banking and UPI payments
• Demand Draft and Cheque (for purchases above INR 2,00,000)
• EMI options via select bank credit cards (terms apply)

3.4 KYC Requirements

In compliance with Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) and RBI guidelines, purchases above the prescribed threshold amount will require submission of government-issued KYC documents (PAN card, Aadhaar, etc.). Failure to provide KYC documentation may result in inability to complete the transaction.

Custom Orders

Custom jewellery design orders are subject to the following terms:

• Advance Payment: A minimum advance of 30–50% of the estimated order value is required to commence work on all custom orders.
• Design Approval: A design sketch or CAD render will be shared for your approval before fabrication begins. Once you approve the design in writing, changes may attract additional charges.
• Production Timeline: Custom orders typically require 2–6 weeks depending on complexity. We will provide an estimated delivery date at the time of order placement.
• Cancellations: Custom orders cannot be cancelled once fabrication has commenced. In exceptional circumstances, cancellation requests will be evaluated and advance amounts may be partially forfeited to cover material and labour costs incurred.
• Final Pricing: The final price may vary slightly from the initial estimate due to market fluctuations in gold rates and the precise weight of the finished piece. We will inform you of the final price before you make the balance payment.

Exchange & Buy-Back Policy

5.1 Exchange Policy

Anant Jewellery offers a lifetime exchange policy on gold jewellery purchased from our store, subject to the following conditions:

• Exchange value will be calculated based on the prevailing gold rate at the time of exchange
• Making charges paid at the time of original purchase are non-refundable during exchange
• The exchanged jewellery must be in reasonable condition without intentional damage
• Original purchase invoice must be presented for exchange
• Exchange is applicable only for gold jewellery; stone values are assessed separately

5.2 Buy-Back Policy

We offer buy-back of gold jewellery purchased from Anant Jewellery at prevailing gold rates. The buy-back value is determined after assessment of gold purity and weight. Making charges and stone values are not included in the buy-back calculation. All buy-backs are voluntary and at our standard assessment rates.

Returns & Refunds

Due to the precious and personalised nature of fine jewellery, we have a limited return and refund policy:

• Standard Purchases: Returns are accepted within 7 days of purchase for items in their original, unworn condition with all tags and certificates intact. A restocking fee of 5% may apply.
• Defective Products: If you receive a defective product, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt with photographic evidence. We will repair, replace, or refund at our discretion.
• Custom Orders: Custom and personalised jewellery orders cannot be returned or refunded as they are uniquely crafted to your specifications.
• Exchange Transactions: Jewellery obtained through exchange cannot be returned for cash refund.

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 7–14 business days via the original payment method.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Anant Jewellery website and physical marketing materials, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, photographs, designs, and jewellery designs, is the exclusive intellectual property of Anant Jewellery and is protected under applicable Indian copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or exploit any content from our website without our express written permission. Unauthorised use of our intellectual property may result in legal action.

Our proprietary jewellery designs are protected and may not be copied, reproduced, or used as a basis for creation without our written consent.

Communication Consent

By voluntarily submitting your name, phone number, email address, or any other contact details to Anant Jewellery through our website contact form, in-store registration, or any other channel, you:

• Consent to receive promotional and transactional communications from Anant Jewellery
• Agree to be contacted by My Inbox Media ® as our authorised communication service partner
• Acknowledge that such communication may be through SMS, email, OBD calls, Google RCS messages, or WhatsApp messages
• Understand and agree to the Notification and Communication Consent as detailed in our Privacy Policy

Consent to marketing communications is optional and does not affect your ability to purchase from or engage with Anant Jewellery. You may withdraw consent at any time without any adverse consequences.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Anant Jewellery shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our products or services, including but not limited to:

• Loss or theft of jewellery after delivery or purchase
• Damage caused by improper use, storage, or care of jewellery
• Natural wear and tear of jewellery over time
• Fluctuations in gold, diamond, or precious stone market values
• Service interruptions or technical issues on our website

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for the specific product or service in question.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Dispute Resolution Process

In the event of any dispute, we encourage you to first contact us directly to resolve the matter amicably:

• Step 2: If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute will be referred to mediation
• Step 3: Unresolved mediated disputes will be subject to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with proceedings conducted in English in Bengaluru, Karnataka

If you are a consumer, you may also approach the appropriate Consumer Forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Amendments to Terms

Anant Jewellery reserves the right to revise, amend, or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The revised Terms will be effective immediately upon posting on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued engagement with our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any updates. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify our registered customers via email or prominent notice on our website or showroom.
